MADe for Navantia Australia

Australian software developer PHM Technology (PHMT), today announced that Navantia Australia has adopted the MADe solution to digitize their ILS processes and thereby optimise sustainment and ensure the highest levels of Readiness.

Navantia Australia, a subsidiary of Navantia Group (Spain), has been supporting the Royal Australian Navy since 2006 with naval design, engineering support, platform to combat system integration, logistics support and ship building management. Today Navantia is focussed on platform system design and through life support. Over the past decade, Navantia Australia has established partnerships with over 200 Australian companies to develop Australia’s sovereign naval shipbuilding capability.

“MADe offers Navantia the ability to develop a single source of ILS truth that supports the design of reliable systems for naval platforms, as well as provide a tool to identify and resolve reliability issues through life from the desk top” said Mr David Sippel, Corporate Director of Navantia Australia.

“Navantia’s evolving relationship with PHMT provides a synergy for the ongoing development of our 4.0 smart (predictive) maintenance tools,” concluded Mr Sippel.
